Most of the houses in this part of the county went up between 1962 and 2007, with the bulk from the 1980s and 90s across the 33 named areas we cover, so we spend a lot of time on torsion springs, rollers, and openers from that era - parts that are still common enough to stock, unlike some of the older one-piece doors from before 1962 that turn up on the edges of our range. Winters here sit in a cold, severe climate band, and that matters for doors: steel panels contract, nylon rollers crack, and weatherstripping on a 20-year-old door gives out faster than people expect. We work on broken springs, bent track, worn cables, failing openers, and full door replacements. What we don't do is quote a price over the phone for anything involving a bent track, a door that's come off its rollers, or hidden rust on the panels - those need eyes on the actual hardware, because two doors with the same symptom can need completely different repairs.
